Linåker School
Linåker School is a secondary school in the Swedish town of Svalöv in southern Sweden. The school has around 350 students aged between 12 and 16. Students study seventeen subjects and are able to choose between learning German, Spanish and French.
The school has recently started to focus more on health and sport. There is a football academy at the school that is run in cooperation with Malmö Football Club. Linåker school has also started a project in which students participate in physical exercise in order to help them in their studies at school.

What about Svalöv?
Svalöv is a small town in Southern Sweden, it is also the name of the municipality. The town has a population of about 4000 and the municipality has a population of over 14000. Svalöv is in the province of Scania. The closest cities are Malmö and Helsingborg and the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, is only a short journey away, over the Oresund bridge. The region is one of the most productive agricultural areas in the world. Forestry, biotechnology and plant breeding are important industries in the region.
In the north of the municipality is the Söderåsen National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The coast is only a short journey away, with opportunities for swimming and sailing. There are also lakes in the area for swimming during the summer months as well as fishing.
